Total trash

Spam! That is all it is. Apple should remove from store. Runs with big banner and upgrade button full time. I wish I had read reviews before I contaminated my apple account with this trash. I guess it has taught me a bit about trusting the App Store. For that it is perhaps worth at least what I paid for it. The time is written off as tuition for a life lesson!

Folders

Doesnt have a way of grouping videos into folders

Works ok, but has annoying "upgrade" button

Fairly easy to download mp4 videos. Playback is okay, but not loud enough. "UPGRADE" button in the middle of the top of the screen is very annoying.

Intrusive Ads

Wow. Those ads are horrendous. I understand wanting to monetize your product, but that is just ridiculous. Two large banner ads across the top and bottom of the media, coupled with an annoying UPGRADE button.

Great intro program bad upgrade

This free version runs my .mov files great. I can easily transfer them in from dropbox and they play great. However it hammers you with "upgrade" charged me $1.99 instead of $.99 (as promised) and the upgrade is crap. Wont play any of the same files correctly, had to reload all my file in new version because it loads new program. Very bad upgrade but free version, ok.

Difficult to Use and Terrible Support

PlayAble PRO … 8.1.1, iPad air 1) Crashes constantly and pressing home continues to play audio. 2) Almost impossible to use because the folder/file names are about 1/32 of an inch tall… how about letting us change the font or a list view. No reply from support.

Terrible

Ads directly over the video as its playing. Extremely distracting.

Wont restore paid portion

Has white bar on top of movie that is so bright I cant watch the movie. Says to upgrade to pro, but I already paid for pro and it wont remove it. When I choose to restore purchases, it says successful. Waist of money.

Does not work right

Payed for the pro version did not play half of my formats, Just found another player that plays everything like this app said it would but does not I hope you all find the one Im talking about.

Doesnt download and play video

I tried to download and play an MP4 video. It didnt work.

Free version ok and also annoying

The free version is ok. It plays avi and mkv files (havent tested others). But it is annoying. There is a big watermark that imposes the word "Upgrade!" on the video being played back (Yes, with a ! mark). I am ok with ads being displayed at top/bottom, that are not too intrusive. But this feature is extremely exasperating.

Upgrade

Great to play videos i otherwise wont be able to play. However theres a distracting upgrade sign in the middle of all the videos. I can live with the ads, but cmon. I will be more than happy to read their ads, but it necessary to have the upgrade sign right in the middle?

Really annoying

The free version includes endless ads and a button in the middle of the screen with the word "vupgrade." Im uninstalling this app, and am happy to pay for another app that doesnt force itself on the user so obnoxiously.

Annoying watermark

Downloaded today and deleted the app right away after seeing the watermark forcing me to upgrade. Not going to happen. Downloaded another free app which plays all file types and best part no watermark. See ya.

Working well

After only a few hours of use, I am quite pleased.

Codec unavailable

After update to version 9.1 all I get when I try to play video is a "codec unavailable" message. App now virtually useless. Put codecs back in.

Terrible app

Poor interface, cant easily fast forward or rewind. Buttons intermittently update status. Laggy and unresponsive, doesnt play some mkv files and unintuitive. I cant understand how this app has high reviews.

User1111

Some of my video files show black screen with this new release version on dec 22,2015.

Freezes

In Apple TV and iPad it freezes after a little while playing and you have to reboot app. Not well done. Do not buy!

A useless app..

Useless app the doesnt work.. Hangs on any video playback
